REQUEST FOR BIDS -: Braffits Creek fuels reduction project IRON COUNTY Requests for Proposals Bid proposals are currently being accepted by Iron County, Utah, for the Braffits Creek West Fuels Reduction project. This first-entry removal initiative covers 45 acres of private land within the Braffits Creek West drainage. The project scope entails thinning and removing pinion, juniper, oak, and mixed timber using chainsaws, followed by piling the cut materials for burning. All project activities are slated for completion by Nov 30, 2026 . Bid packets may be sent to 646 N Main Cedar City Utah, 84721. Requests for the Bid document may also be submitted to spencerrollo@utah.gov. The Bid will be transmitted to requesters by electronic mail or in printed form. Iron County Fire Warden Phone Number: (435) 590-4714. Responses to this Bid project will be accepted as follows: an original plus 1 exact duplicate copies must be delivered to the address below on or before 4:00 pm mountain time August 6th, 2026. The County will not be responsible for proposals delivered to a person or location other than that specified herein, and reliance on third party shipping methods will not excuse late proposals. Should the county award a contract, it will be to the offeror whose proposal is determined in writing to be most advantageous to the county based on the factors set forth in the request for proposals.
