NOTICE OF CAMPAIGN FINANCIAL MID-TERM CITY COUNCIL VACANCY Wellsville City hereby gives notice that candidates seeking appointment to fill a midterm vacancy on the Wellsville City Council must file a campaign finance statement with Wellsville City Recorder Scott Wells at 75 East Main, Wellsville, Utah by 5:00 p.m. on July 29, 2026 in accordance with Utah Code § 20A-1-510, and 10-3-208(6). Upon receipt of the campaign finance statement the City Recorder will immediately submit a copy of the statement to the legislative body; and posted on the Wellsville City Website and the Utah Public Notice Website. Interested individuals shall submit a complete and notarized City Council Vacancy Application to Scott Wells, City Recorder no later than Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Applications and Campaign Finance Statement may be submitted in person or by mail to: Wellsville City Recorder PO Box 6, Wellsville, Utah 84319. The City Council will fill this vacancy by appointment. The appointed individual will serve as a member of the Wellsville City Council through January 5, 2028, completing the remainder of the unexpired term. Qualified applicants will be interviewed by the Mayor and City Council during an open and public City Council meeting on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., held in the Wellsville City Council Chambers, located at 75 East Main, Wellsville, Utah. The City Council will make the appointment during the same meeting. Applications and Campaign Finance Statement can be found on the Wellsville City Website OR City Office.
