NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR DISCONNECTION AND PUBLIC HEARING
Pursuant to Utah Code 10-2-501 and 10-2-502.5
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Dutch John Town Council has received a request for disconnection of certain real property from the municipal boundaries of the Town. The request was submitted by DJ57, LLC (petitioner), with Jesse R. Lassley designated as the person authorized to act on the petitioner's behalf.
The territory proposed for disconnection is more particularly described and shown on the map/plat attached as Exhibit A to the request for disconnection (available for public inspection as noted below). The request states the reasons for the proposed disconnection.
A public hearing on the request will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 6:30pm, at The Dutch John Fire Station located at 560 S. Blvd, Dutch John, UT 84023. Meeting access is available electronically. See https://dutchjohn.gov/pages/calendar for more details.
During the public hearing, any person may speak and submit documents regarding the disconnection proposal.
Written comments may be submitted in advance to amcdonald@dutchjohn.gov and will be provided to the Council.
A complete copy of the request for disconnection, including the map, is available for public inspection during regular business hours at the Town office, 560 S. Blvd in Dutch John, and on the Town's website at www.dutchjohn.gov.
