PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Snyderville Basin Special Recreation District - Parks, Trails, Open Space & Recreation Impact Fee Facilities Plan NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Summit County Council, acting as the governing body of the Snyderville Basin Special Recreation District ('Basin Recreation' or the 'District'), will hold a public hearing on: Date: Wednesday, July 29, 2026 Time: 6:00PM, or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard Location: Sheldon Richins Building Auditorium, 1885 West Ute Blvd., Park City, UT, 84098, and via electronic means at https://zoom.us/j/772302472 Purpose: To receive public comment on, and to consider adoption of, the Parks, Trails, Open Space & Recreation Impact Fee Facilities Plan (the 'IFFP' or 'Plan') prepared for Basin Recreation by Zions Public Finance, Inc., dated June 2026. Purpose of the Plan The IFFP identifies the existing level of service, the proposed level of service, any excess capacity to accommodate future growth at the proposed level of service, the demands new development activity will place on Basin Recreation's parks, trails, open space, and recreation facilities at the proposed level of service, and the means by which the District will meet those growth demands. If adopted, the IFFP will serve as the required predicate under the Utah Impact Fees Act for Basin Recreation to prepare an Impact Fee Analysis and to update its impact fees for parks, trails, open space, and recreation facilities. Where to Review the Plan A copy of the proposed IFFP, together with a summary written to be understood by a lay person, is available for public inspection, free of charge, at the following locations at least 10 days before the date of the public hearing: Basin Recreation Administrative Offices, 5715 Trailside Drive, Park City, UT 84098 Summit County Library - Kimball Junction Branch, 1885 W Ute Blvd, Park City, UT 84098 Online at basinrecreationutah.gov and utah.gov/pmn/ Public Participation All interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing and will be given a reasonable opportunity to be heard. If you would like to submit comments to Council, please email publiccomments@summitcountyutah.gov by 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. If you wish to interact with Council, for public input, please appear in person, or use the 'Raise Hand' button at the bottom of the chat window in Zoom. Statutory Authority This notice is provided pursuant to Utah Code §§ 11-36a-502 and 17B-1-111 and is posted as a Class A notice under Utah Code Ann. § 63G-30-102 for a period of not less than 10 days before the date of the public hearing identified above.
