Cleveland Town Public Hearing Pending Minutes for June 11, 2026 The Public Hearing of the Cleveland Town Council was held at the Public Safety Building located at 130 W Main in Cleveland, Utah, on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 7:00 pm. Those in attendance were: Kristen Vose (Mayor Pro-Tempore), Chance Thompson, Carl Sitterud, and Whitney Guymon. Absent: Mayor Shawna Horrocks. Public Attendance: None Called to order at 7:03 pm Flag Ceremony led by Kristen Vose. Item#1: Receive comments/questions on Resolution to raise water and sewer connection fees. Kristen Vose explained why we needed a resolution to raise connection rates. Secondary rates will not be raised. No public comments or questions. Item #2: Receive public comment/questions on transfer of $15,000 from enterprise fund to general fund. Kristen Vose explained that we do this every year. Treasurer, Heather Holt, explained what the enterprise fund is. No public comments or questions. Item #3: Receive comments/questions about amended 2025-2026 Budget. Heather Holt explained that the current budget will need to be amended by June 30, 2026. No public comments or questions. Item #4: Receive comments/questions on proposed tax rate of 0.000469 with total revenue of $13,752. Heather Holt explained it is the amount of taxes the County assigns us for property taxes that we adopt. No public comments or questions. Item #6. Receive comments/questions on the 2026-2027 Budget. Heather Holt stated that this is the new budget. Whitney Guymon asked why we bought O'Ville. It was explained that it was given to us. She asked if we could give O'Ville to county since it raised our insurance rate to help save the town money. Especially since it doesn't make any money. No public comments or questions. Item #3. Adjourn Meeting Whitney Guymon made a motion to adjourn the meeting. A second motion was made by Carl Sitterud. All were in favor. Motion carried, meeting adjourned at 7:12 pm.
