NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Huntington City Cemetery Concrete Project Huntington City hereby invites sealed bids from qualified general contractors for concrete improvements at the Huntington City Cemetery. The project consists of approximately 6,335 square feet of concrete improvements, including one section approximately 462 feet by 12 feet and one section approximately 226 feet by 31/2 feet, together with saw cutting asphalt to provide a clean, finished edge along the cemetery roadway. The larger section shall include reinforcement with either rebar or wire mesh in accordance with the project specifications. Concrete color shall closely match the existing memorial, as specified in the project documents. A mandatory pre-bid site walkthrough will be held on Monday, July 27, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Contractors shall meet at Huntington City Hall, 20 South Main Street, Huntington, Utah. Attendance is required to submit a bid. Project specifications and bid documents will be distributed only to contractors attending the walkthrough. A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount is required and must accompany each sealed bid. Sealed bids must be received at Huntington City Hall no later than 4:00 p.m. on Monday, August 3, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened at 4:10 p.m. that same day. The contract will be awarded by the Huntington City Council at its regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. Questions prior to the mandatory pre-bid walkthrough may be directed to Brandy Wagner, City Recorder, at (435) 687-2436. Huntington City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality or technicality, and award the contract in the best interest of the City.
