Powell: The system is running well. We are gathering quotes for a new computer for the well, with the upgrades in software will probably run about $11,000.
We got water usage into the state it was about 10 acre feet more in 2025 than 2024. We are accounting the extra usage from fire hydrant line flushing, line brakes and extra usage from customers. The other board members commented that they thought it was a large overage and Powell explained where he feels the extra usage came from. There was also discussion about what rights and certification might be taken for non-use. Powell didn't think that the current certificated culinary rights could be touched but that the 500 acre feet from the river needed to be put into use as quickly as possible.
Powell asked if Brandt had talked with a Jennifer Macintosh about the artesian well system for the Sand Island well. Hart said he hadn't spoken to anyone.
