NOTICE OF ANNEXATION PETITION Brigham City hereby gives notice that an annexation petition has been filed with the City Recorder requesting the annexation of 87.74+/- acres located at approximately 1200 West between Hwy 13 and 1500 North. The Brigham City Council accepted the annexation petition on June 18, 2026. The complete annexation petition is available for inspection and copying at the office of the Brigham City Recorder, 20 North Main, during normal business hours. Brigham City may grant the petition and annex the area described in the petition unless a written protest to the annexation, in accordance with Utah Code §10-2-810 is filed with the Box Elder County Clerk at 1 South Main, Brigham City, Utah, and a copy of the protest delivered to the Brigham City Recorder at 20 North Main on or before July 31, 2026. If no timely protest is received by the County Clerk and the Brigham City Recorder, the City Council will hold a public hearing for the purpose of considering public comment on the proposed annexation petition. Following the public hearing, the Council may adopt an ordinance for the annexation of the above-described property. Kristina Rasmussen Brigham City Recorder Published July 7th, 15th, 22nd
