PRESENT: Mayor Adam Palafox (PHONE) Councilmember Radine Murphy Councilmember Tanner Moore City Administrator Glenn Wadsworth City Treasurer Sasha Palafox City Clerk Liliano Soriano EXCUSED: Councilmember Darlene Trammell, Councilmember Manuel Carrillo Mayor Adam Palafox called meeting to order at 6:15pm 1. Budget Work Meeting 2026-2027 Budget City Treasurer Sasha Palafox updated City Council of Tooele County Tourism Application that she placed back in January, County has responded and approved Wendover City for Reimbursement of $15,000.00 for Advertising & Promotions. Sasha also included letter from Tooele County as far as how tourism monies should be spent in the future for request of reimbursements back to City. Previously Wendover City would advertise in Wendover Times for Hotel and Eateries as things have changed Advertisements now need to be made out of county and include Wendover City logo as well as Tooele County logo to any advertisements that are requested to be reimbursed at end of year. Sasha informed City Council if anybody has questions Meghan VonHatten is who they should reach out to and her contact number is on letter. Sasha let City Council know that Tax Rate has not been pushed out yet, she is hoping by June 8th so she plans to call another meeting in June for the approval of Tax Rate since it must be approved and returned to County Auditor by June 22nd, 2026. Sasha requested council to give her a date to schedule next budget meeting for approval of Tax Rate, Revenue Transfers to present budget as well as Final Approval to 2026-2027 budget. Council agreed on June 17th, and Sasha plans to schedule budget meeting for that day. Mayor Adam Palafox closed meeting at 6:20pm
