- SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION SALT LAKE CITY COUNCIL SYNOPSIS OF SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE 018 of 2026 The Salt Lake City Council, at its April 21, 2026, meeting, adopted an ordinance amending the zoning of the property at approximately 1073 South Navajo Street from R-1/5,000 (Single-Family Residential District) to RMF-30 (Low Density Multi-Family). The ordinance allows for the construction of additional for-sale homes on the 0.49 acre lot. The applicant intends to retain the existing single-family home. Consideration may be given to rezoning the property to another zoning district with similar characteristics. The project is within Council District 2. Petitioner: Mark Overdevest, the property owner. Petition No.: PLNPCM2025-01015.
