Description/Agenda

Milford City Council adopted the following ordinance and resolution in a regularly scheduled meeting held on June 25, 2026: o Resolution 11-2026 'A Resolution Temporarily Prohibiting the Discharge of All Personal Fireworks and Cancelling All Professional Fireworks Displays within Milford City Limits Due to Extreme Fire Danger Conditions' This resolution restricts and prohibits the discharge of fireworks during periods of extreme fire danger to protect life and property banning the discharge of fireworks whether by private individuals or as part of a professional display. Any person found in violation of this resolution shall be subject to a Class B Misdemeanor and a fine up to $1,000 per occurrence. This resolution is in effect through December 1, 2026, unless modified, extended, or rescinded by subsequent action of the Milford City Council. Copies of the resolution in its entirety are available for public inspection or copies may be purchased during normal business hours at the Milford City Offices, 26 South 100 West, Milford, Utah.
