Notice Title: Annual Action Plan Draft and Consolidated Plan Amendment Hearing Public
Notice Location: 1385 S State St, Salt Lake City, UT 84115 in Conference Room 157

Body of Notice: The State of Utah Housing and Community Development Division will hold a public comment period from June 29, 2026 to July 30, 2026 and a public hearing on July 30, 2026 starting at 11:00 AM at 1385 S State Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84115. The purpose of this public comment period and public hearing is to receive comments on the 2026 Annual Action Plan and an amendment to the 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan. The Annual Action Plan process serves as the framework for a community-wide dialogue to identify housing and community development priorities that align and focus funding from the CPD formula block grant programs: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program, Housing Trust Fund (HTF), and Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) Program. The Annual Action Plan provides a concise summary of the actions, activities, and specific federal and non-federal resources that will be used each year to address the priority needs and specific goals identified by the Consolidated Plan. The plan is attached to this notice. Additionally, the State of Utah is seeking comment on an amendment to the 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan, detailing the movement of the administration of the CDBG, HOME, and HTF programs from the Department of Workforce Services to the Governor's Office of Economic Development.
