NOTICE OF PLANNING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Holladay Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 as close to 6:00 P.M. as possible. The purpose of the hearing is to consider a rezone application consisting of approx. 1.65 acres (71,354 sq. ft) of property located at 4032 S. 2300 E. The request is to change the zoning designation on a rear portion of the property from the existing Public Zone to the R-1-10 Zone (residential single-family).
The proposed rezone would change the allowed land uses on the designation portion by allowing detached, single-family dwellings with one residential unit for every 10,000 sq. ft of land. This is a change from the current allowances of uses allowed withing the Public Zone, including the current use as a private educational use. The front portion of the property would retain its public
The packet with information regarding this application will be available for public inspection on the City's website www.holladayut.gov and at the Community Development Dept. during normal business hours three days prior to the scheduled meeting.
Please note, this meeting will be held at City of Holladay's temporary location, 3330 South 1300 East, Millcreek Utah.
The public can remotely watch the Live Stream of the meeting. To provide a public comment or to comment on any public hearing, you have the following options:
1. In-person attendance at the temporary City Hall location, 3300 S. 1300 E. or
2. Email your comments by 5:00 PM on the date of the meeting to cmarsh@holladayut.gov or call 801527-3890.
