- NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING MILLARD COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT AMENDMENT APPLICATION # Z-2026-042 AMENDING THE MILLARD COUNTY TABLE OF USES AND USE DEFINITIONS FOR SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEM (MAJOR) AND WIND ENERGY SYSTEM (MAJOR) AND AMENDING THE MILLARD COUNTY ZONING MAP TO CREATE A NEW OVERLAY ZONE FOR LARGE-SCALE ENERGY PROJECTS Notice is hereby given that the Millard County Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. at the Millard County Offices-71 South 200 West, Delta, Utah, for the purpose of receiving public comment on Application #Z-2026-042 proposing to amend Millard County Code Title 10 Chapter 25 The Table of Uses and Use Definitions for Solar Energy System (major) and Wind Energy System (major) and amending the Millard County Zoning Map to create a new overlay zone for Large-Scale Energy Projects. A copy of the application for the proposed Text Amendment is available for review at the Millard County Offices, 71 South 200 West, Delta, Utah. Anyone having questions may also contact the Millard County Planner Adam Richins at the above address in Delta or by calling 1-435-864-1406. All interested persons are invited to attend and make comment. Written comments may be submitted to the Millard County Planner. Published in the Millard County Chronicle Progress June 24, 2026.
