Description/Agenda
The City of West Jordan is seeking talented artists and artist-led teams to help create a collection of iconic public artworks that will define and enrich key locations throughout the community.
This initiative is intended to transform public spaces into vibrant destinations, celebrate the City's unique identity, and create lasting cultural landmarks for residents and visitors alike. The City welcomes innovative artistic concepts that foster community connection, inspire creativity, and contribute to a dynamic and engaging public realm.
Artists from all disciplines are encouraged to submit qualifications and concepts that reflect excellence in design, craftsmanship, and placemaking. Selected artists will collaborate with the City to develop site-specific works that enhance West Jordan's growing network of parks, civic spaces, gateways, and community gathering areas.
The budget for this year's program is $50,000.
The City looks forward to partnering with artists who can help create memorable experiences and contribute to the lasting legacy of West Jordan through public art.
