NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD
FOR A COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) SECTION 108 LOAN GUARANTEE APPLICATION: LAND AQUISITION FOR PERMANENT SUPPORTIVE HOUSING AND TRANSITIONAL HOUSING
Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday July 21, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. a Public Hearing will be held in Room 303, Commission Chambers, Administration Building, 61 South Main Street, Farmington, Utah, before the Davis County Commission to accept public comments on the following:
The County proposes to submit a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Section 108 Loan Guarantee Program Application for funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
The County is seeking up to $4.7 million in Section 108 Loan Guarantee funding that would be used to acquire land and potentially conduct needed infrastructure improvements in order to facilitate a Permanent Supportive Housing and Transitional Housing development project.
The proposed application is available for review online at https://www.daviscountyutah .gov/ced/grants-and-community-development or at the Davis County Administration Building, Suite 304, 61 S. Main Street, Farmington, UT 84025 Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.
Prior to approving any recommendations, the Davis County Commission will consider and review all public comments, as well as recommendations provided by the Community & Economic Development Department. This is the first public hearings on this matter. If you are unable to attend, written comments may be submitted to sbrand@daviscountyutah.gov. Comments will also be accepted by mail to: Davis County CED, Attn: Grants Administrator - Suite 304, PO Box 618, Farmington, UT 84025.

Por la presente se notifica que el martes 21 de julio de 2026 a las 10:00 a.m. se llevará a cabo una Audiencia Pública en la Sala 303, Salón de Comisiones, Edificio de Administración, 61 South Main Street, Farmington, Utah, ante la Comisión del Condado de Davis para aceptar comentarios públicos sobre lo siguiente:
El Condado propone presentar una Solicitud del Programa de Garantía de Préstamos de la Sección 108 del Programa de Subvenciones para el Desarrollo Comunitario (CDBG) para obtener financiamiento del Departamento de Vivienda y Desarrollo Urbano de EE. UU. (HUD)
