- The Smithfield City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at the City Office Building located at 96 South Main, Smithfield, Utah no sooner than 6:00 P.M. The public hearing is for the purpose of discussing Ordinance 2026-11, an Ordinance amending the Smithfield City Municipal Code Title 5 'Business Licenses and Regulations', Chapter 5.04 'Business Licenses Generally', Section 5.04.090 'Inspections; Complaint In Case Of Noncompliance' and Title 17 'Zoning Regulations', Chapter 17.08 'Administration', Section 17.08.070 'Violation; Penalty'.
