VERNAL CITY ORDINANCE NO 2026-17 ADOPTED
Notice is hereby given that the Vernal City Council has adopted Ordinance No. 2026-17, setting the property tax rate for Fiscal Year 2026-2027.
This ordinance establishes the Vernal City property tax rate at 0.000495 for the 2026 tax year in accordance with Utah law. Property tax revenues generated by the rate will be deposited into the City's General Fund and used to support municipal operations and services. The ordinance also adopts the certified tax rate calculations and provides for implementation beginning July 1, 2026.
Ordinance 2026-17 was duly passed and adopted by the Vernal City Council on June 17, 2026.
