The Utah Board of Oil, Gas and Mining meets on Wednesday, June 24, at 9 a.m. at the Department of Natural Resources building at 1594 West North Temple in Salt Lake City. Opportunity for public comment The board will hear the following matters as soon as the briefing session concludes: 1. Docket No. 2026-029 Cause No. 997-07 - In the Matter of Formal Rulemaking to adopt oil and gas bonding rule amendments 2. Docket No. 2026-026 Cause No. 379-05 - In the Matter of: Request for Agency Action of UTAH BRINE CORPORATION LLC for an order vesting operatorship in the Big Indian Unit 1 (API 43-037-16219) and the Lisbon B912 (API 43-037-15769) oil and gas wells 3. Docket No. 2026-027 Cause No. 130-50 - In the Matter of the Request for Agency Action of CRESCENT UINTA, LLC for an order: (i) establishing 'lay-down' 1,920-acre drilling units and (ii) establishing 'lay-down' 2,560-acre drilling units for the long lateral horizontal well production of oil, gas and associated hydrocarbons from the Lower Green River and Green River-Wasatch Formations of: (a) Section 36, T1S, R4W, U.S.M.; (b) Sections 13-22 and 25-35, T1S, R3W, U.S.M.; (c) Sections 31-34, T1S, R2W, U.S.M.; (d) Sections 1-2 and 11-14, T2S, R5W, U.S.M.; and (e) Sections 1-18, T2S, R4W, U.S.M., all in Duchesne County, Utah 4. Docket No. 2026-028 Cause No. 130-51 - In the Matter of the Request for Agency Action of SM ENERGY COMPANY for an order (1) vacating portions of the Board's order in Cause Nos. 139-140, 139-149, 139-153, and 130-31, insofar and only insofar as each order authorizes future development of the 'vacated stand-up units' identified herein and (2) amending the Board's orders in Cause Nos. 139-140, 139-149, 139-153, and 600-04 to establish (a) three 1280-acre DSUS, (b) two 2560-acre DUBWDSUS, (c) four 4-mile 2560-acre DSUS, and (d) two 5120-acre DUBWDSUS each for the production of oil, gas and associated hydrocarbons from the Lower Green River-Wasatch (Colton) Formations in Sections 7-9, 16-21 and 28-33, Township 2 South, Range 2 West, and Sections 11-14, 25, 26, 35 and 36, Township 2 South, Range 3 West, U.S.M, in Duchesne County, Utah
