- NOTICE AND AGENDA Notice is hereby given that the Garland City Council will hold a regular City Council meeting on the 27th day of March 2012 at the Garland City Civic Center. Such meeting shall begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. The Mayor reserves the right to modify the sequence of agenda items in order to facilitate special needs. The agenda shall be as follows: 1. Call to order – Mayor Bennett 2. Invocation 3. Pledge of Allegiance 4. Vote to approve agenda 5. Approval of Minutes: a. February 22, 2012 6. Requests for Future Agenda Items (Open Comments) 7. Mayor Bennett b. Council Member Coleman – Water & Sewer c. Council Member Hughes – Public Safety/Wheat & Beet Days i. Fire Chief Kent Menlove ii. Police Chief Linda Bourne d. Council Member Miller – Streets/Planning and Zoning i. Planning and Zoning Commission – Jeff Jensen ii. Street Projects e. Council Member Shaw – Parks/Mosquito Abatement/Facilities f.
