IVINS CITY COUNCIL WORK MEETING AGENDA June 18, 2026 Mayor Kevin Smith City Council Members Sharon Barton Sharon Gillespie Dillon Hurt Wayne Pennington Mike Scott City Manager Chuck Gillette The Ivins City Council will hold a Work Meeting in the Ivins City Council Chambers, 85 N. Main St., Ivins, UT, on Thursday, June 18, 2026. The meeting will begin at 3:00 P.M. NOTICE: This meeting will be held in person and electronically. You may watch the live audio and video feed by going to www.ivinsutah.gov under 'Upcoming Events'. When the meeting is live, it will reflect 'In Progress' - click on the 'In Progress' link to watch the meeting live. Note: The order of items discussed on this agenda is subject to change. The link for electronic participation is: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81391278969 - Zoom will not be available during the site visit. 1) WELCOME AND CALL TO ORDER A. Acknowledgement of Quorum B. Disclosures 2) WORK MEETING - Anasazi Commons Annexation located along Old Highway 91 A. Site Visit - meet on trail on north side of project along Old Highway 91 a. Discuss visualization needs for any proposed development b. Discuss Sensitive Lands Requirements for Slopes c. Discuss Potential for Buffering B. Return to City Council Chambers a. Review site plan recommendations by staff i. Sensitive Lands Protection ii. Buffering iii. Grading b. Review proposed site plan by developer c. Discuss viability of commercial land use on the project d. Discuss viability, quantity, types, and features of affordable housing on the project i. High Density Single Family ii. High Density Two Family iii. High Density Multi Family e. Discuss architecture, landscaping, colors and building heights. f. Discuss need for public park facility g. Identify other overarching vision & goals of Council/Commission for this project. h. Identify process moving forward i. Sensitive Lands Requirements - should we settle on a plan first or identify sensitive lands first? ii. Visualization Requirements (finalize discussion started on site) iii. Development Agreement Provisions iv.
