NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE
RICHFIELD CITY
RICHFIELD CITY is proposing to increase its property tax revenue.
RICHFIELD CITY's tax on a $330,000 residence would increase from $312.36 to $413.28, which is $100.92 per year.
RICHFIELD CITY's tax on a $330,000 business would increase from $567.93 to $751.41, which is $183.48 per year.
If the proposed budget is approved, RICHFIELD CITY would receive an additional $500,000 in property tax revenue per year as a result of the tax increase. If the proposed budget is approved, RICHFIELD CITY would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 32.33 % above last year's property tax budgeted revenue, excluding eligible new growth.
RICHFIELD CITY invites all concerned citizens to a public hearing for the purpose of hearing comments regarding the proposed tax increase and to explain the reasons for the proposed tax increase. You have the option to attend or participate in the public hearing in person or online.

The virtual meeting link will be posted at www.richfieldut.gov 24 hours before the hearing for individuals wanting to participate virtually in the public hearing. Written comments can be submitted electronically for inclusion in the public record, both before and during the public hearing.
