Notice is hereby given that the Vernal City Council will hold public hearings on June 17, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Vernal City Council Chambers, located at 374 East Main Street, Vernal, Utah, to consider taking final action regarding the following:
FY2026 Budget Reopener #1, Ordinance 2026-15 - Budgets to be considered during the Public Hearing will include the General Fund, Water Fund, Sewer Fund, Solid Waste Fund, Municipal Building Authority Fund, Strike Force Fund, Capital Improvement Fund and other Miscellaneous Funds in the City.
Vernal City Compensation Schedule for FY2027, Resolution 2026-05 - For the purpose of receiving input regarding the proposed compensation schedule for employees of the City, including compensation for appointed and elected officers of the municipality. Compensation includes salary, budgeted incentive pay or bonus, vehicle allowance, deferred salary, and/or compensation increase.
FY2027 Budget, Ordinance 2026-16 - Budgets to be considered during the public hearing will include the general fund, water fund, sewer fund, and solid waste fund, Municipal Building Authority fund, Strike Force fund, Airport Fun, other miscellaneous funds in the City and all salary and wage schedules.
All interested persons shall be given the opportunity to be heard. Budget documents may be reviewed at the Vernal City office at 374 East Main Street, Vernal, Utah between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. weekdays.
