TOWN OF PORTAGE WEDNESDAY June 10, 2026 @ 5:30 PM PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION AGENDA Notice is hereby given that the Planning & Zoning Commission of Portage will hold its' Planning and Zoning meeting on Wednesday June 10, 2026@ 5:30 PM at the Portage Town Hall located at 25880 N 9000 W, Portage, Utah 84331 The Agenda shall be as follows 5:30 PM Call to Order Opening Ceremony Prayer: Pledge of Allegiance: - Public Comments limited to (3) three minutes per person. - - Public Hearing for amending the Land Use Ordinance section 115, adding a section dealing with AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TOWN OF PORTAGE LAND USE ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH A SCHEDULE OF PERMITTED, CONDITIONAL, AND PROHIBITED USES; TO RESTRICT CELLULAR TOWERS, COMMERCIAL WIND ENERGY SYSTEMS, SOLAR ENERGY FACILITIES, DATA CENTERS, BATTERY ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEMS, AND CERTAIN UTILITY INFRASTRUCTURE TO COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL ZONING DISTRICTS; AND TO PROVIDE FOR RELATED DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS - Action item-Ordinance 2026-001-AN ORDINANCE ADDING TO AND AMENDING THE TOWN OF PORTAGE LAND USE ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH A SCHEDULE OF PERMITTED, CONDITIONAL, AND PROHIBITED USES; TO RESTRICT CELLULAR TOWERS, COMMERCIAL WIND ENERGY SYSTEMS, SOLAR ENERGY FACILITIES, DATA CENTERS, BATTERY ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEMS, AND CERTAIN UTILITY INFRASTRUCTURE TO COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL ZONING DISTRICTS; AND TO PROVIDE FOR RELATED DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS. - Standing agenda items: Discuss and vote on Codes/Ordinances-Table of Contents, Terms, Index, and Section :101-119.
