Brigham City 2026 Storm Water Management Plan (SWMP) Update
The purpose of this public notice is to solicit public comment regarding Brigham City's proposed update to its Storm Water Management Plan (SWMP). The SWMP is the City's primary framework for managing stormwater runoff and documenting compliance with the Utah Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (UPDES) Small MS4 Permit administered by the Utah Division of Water Quality. The updated 2026 SWMP reflects current ordinances, practices, inspection procedures, reporting methods, and State DWQ audit-related program improvements, including Standard Operating Procedures, checklists, and forms incorporated into a single implementation document. It is the intention of the Brigham City Council to adopt the updated SWMP after this public notice period.
Public Participation: The proposed 2026 Storm Water Management Plan (SWMP) update is available for viewing by contacting the City's Storm Water office at 435-226-1444. Public comments are invited to be made during the public hearing or any time prior to the end of business day July 15, 2026. Written comments may be submitted to Brigham City's Storm Water Coordinator:
