The Hurricane City Council will hold a Public Hearing during their regular meeting at 92 S. 100 W. Hurricane, Utah (Fine Arts Building) on Thursday, June 18, 2026, commencing at 6 p.m. to take comments on the following:
1. Adopting a Storm Drain Impact Fee Facilities Plan (IFFP), a Storm Drain Impact Fee Analysis (IFA), and a Storm Drain Impact Fee.
2. 2026-2027 Fiscal Year Budget.
3. Proposed amendments to the 2025-2026 Fiscal Year Budget.
4. Wage increases within the 2026-2027 Fiscal Year Budget of up to 10% for all executive municipal officers as defined in Utah Code 10-3-818.
The IFFP, IFA, and budget are available for inspection in the office of the Hurricane City Recorder at the City Office, 147 N. 870 West, Hurricane, Utah during regular business hours or you may call 435-635-2811 x 106 to request a copy. It can also be found on the City website www.cityofhurricane.com and Utah Public Notice website https://www.utah.gov/pmn/index.html
If you would like to make comments, please plan to attend the meeting, or provide written comments for the City Council's consideration by 3 p.m., the day before the meeting.
