Center St. Kyle Blackner PO Box 1013 Zoning Administrator Beaver UT 84713 Karianne Jarvis 435-438-6484 Commission Chairman 435-213-1752 (Fax) NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Beaver County Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 6:30pm at the Beaver County Administration Building at 105 East Center St., Beaver, Utah, at which time and place the commission will hear public comments concerning the following: Proposed Ordinance 2026-09: 9-22: Short-Term Rentals Including removal of 9-13-24: Short-Term Vacation Rentals (Short-Term Rentals) Including addition of the Short-Term Rentals definition to 9-1-6: Definitions Proposed Ordinance Change: 2026-10: 9-13-16: Water and Sewer Requirements: Updating the hauling of water is prohibited. Rules of Conduct: Role of citizens at a public hearing - Citizens may speak during the designated public comment period when recognized by the presiding officer - State your name for the record - Comments must be delivered within the three (3) minute time limit - All remarks should be directed to the chair and confined to the topic under consideration - Speakers may present opinions, concerns, or relevant information for the record Limitations on participation - Citizens are not participants in the parliamentary process and therefore do not make motions, second motions, or vote - They are not permitted to engage in debate with board members or other speakers - Interruptions, demonstrations, or disruptive behavior are not permitted - Individuals who engage in disruptive behavior will be asked to leave Overall Structure Public hearings are structured to gather orderly public input. The governing body then uses parliamentary procedure to deliberate, make motions, and reach decisions.
