NOTICE AND AGENDA Notice is hereby given that the Hanksville Town council will hold its regularly scheduled Council Meeting in conjunction with a public hearing on the 4th day of June 2026 At the Hanksville Community Center; meeting shall begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. The agenda shall be as follows: Pledge of Allegiance Prayer Swearing in of new council member Shyann Alvey Roll Call Approval of Minutes from prior meetings Public Hearing - Comments on proposed budget FY2027 and Amended Budget FY2026 Amended Budget approval July 2025-June 2026 Budget approval July 2026-June 2027 New Business: Request for donation from Hadley Ellett - Wayne High School Future Business Leaders of America Chapter Advisor Business License request from William R. Wells & Jennifer Wells - American Boat and Prop Building permit request for a single family residence - Red Desert Inc. Andy Alexander - Conditional Use renewal for property Tabled Business Scott Livingston - zone change request from Residential Mixed Use to Resort Commercial - revisit the decision of 5/7/2026 due to tie vote on issue Request from Wayne Community Health Center for steps to west door entrance to Hanksville Community Center Public Comment Planning Commission Report Hanksville Tourism Advisory Board Report Report of Officers: Mayor Jeffren T. Pei - Administration, public safety and town buildings Council Member Mona Wells - Cemetery and Gun Range Council Member Robert Gilner - Town roads Council Member Peter Devonshire - Water and Sewer Council Member Shyann Alvey - Parks Treasurer - Jessica Alvey Clerk - Lisa Wells Optional Closed Session may be held pursuant to UCA 52-4-205
