*Charles motions to open public hearing, Alisha seconds, all in favor.
1. Discuss and amend Budget for fiscal year 2025-2026-
Board received the review and Dave and Edna Okelberry asked why it was posted wrong not in business's around town, it was explained that all requirements were met, public notice website, window of office building and newspaper. Further discuss on this was had, and was told to ask for handouts prior to meetings at the town office as stated. No other input was given from public.
C. Close Budget Amendment Hearing- Charles made a motion to close the public hearing, Jonathan seconds, all in favor.

1. Discuss Budget for Fiscal Year 2026-2027- Board received the new budget, it was asked if council met prior to this to look over it, it was discussed at the last council meeting and offered for view then as well. No other input from public.

E. Disclosures- Jonathan disclosed on item number 7, it will be pertaining to him.
F. Public Input/ Reports, Non agenda items (limited to three minutes)-
Edna Okelberry asked Jonathan what to do about the cat problem. He will look into it when he is on the board about future solutions. The board did go into the costs that we are charged for taking in animals to the shelter and Steven mentioned that a brief audit did find that we have been mischarged a couple times due to location and not being in town limits. This is why we need a representative on the board from here on. A lot of public agreed that the cats around town are a huge nuisance!
1. Approval of Minutes- May 12, 2026- Randy motions, Jonathan seconds, all in favor.
2. Sergeant Dutson with UCSO- Monthly STATS- N/A couldn't make it tonight.
3. Sunrise Regional Client Advocate Introduction-Glade Nielson- introduced himself to the council and all the public. He is out of the Nephi, Utah office so close to us. He is the regional advocate for us if we need anything, Steven thanked him and sunrise for their services and Glade also thanked the council for the business.
4. Approval of Amended Budget for Fiscal year 2025-2026- Resolution #06032026- Charles motions to approve, Jonathan seconds, all in favor.
5. Approval of Budget for Fiscal Year 2026-2027- Resolution #06042026- Charles asked about budget for legion hall, and it was mentioned they have some for it but not the entire budget for it. Alisha motions to approve, Randy seconds, all in favor.
6. Adopting the 2026 Certified Tax Rate- Resolution #06022026-
This is the tax rate from Utah County. Charles motions to adopt tax rate, Alisha seconds, all in favor.
7. Pass Resolution #06012026- appointing Jonathan Maclee to serve on the SUVAS (South Utah Valley Animal Shelter) Board- Charles motions to approve, Alisha seconds, all in favor.
8. Celebration- Jon noted the days of the celebration, and that all was coming along smoothly. Car show is to be on the trail this year not the fire station parking lot. And that this celebration is much the same as the past years. Dave asked about a community sponsored dinner, it was mentioned it was too late in the game for this, this year, but if he was willing to volunteer it, go ahead for next year etc. Randy Staheli will do a watermelon bust Friday during the festivities at the park.
