NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
INTERIM BUDGET
NORTH VIEW FIRE DISTRICT
The NORTH VIEW FIRE DISTRICT is holding a public hearing to receive public input
regarding a resolution to adopt an interim budget for Fiscal Year 2026-2027 that includes a
proposed property tax increase.
Adoption of the interim budget does not constitute final approval of the proposed tax
increase. Final consideration of the proposed tax increase will occur following a Truth in
Taxation public hearing currently scheduled for August 3, 2026.
If ultimately approved following the Truth in Taxation process, the proposed increase would
result in no more than approximately $646,000 (13%) in additional property tax revenue
annually, excluding eligible new growth.
The NORTH VIEW FIRE DISTRICT tax on a $544,000 (2025 average value) residence could
increase by approximately $42.73 per year.
The NORTH VIEW FIRE DISTRICT tax on a $544,000 business property could increase by
approximately $77.69 per year.
The NORTH VIEW FIRE DISTRICT invites all concerned citizens to attend a public hearing
regarding the proposed interim budget. Citizens may attend and participate in person or
virtually.
