NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TOWN OF ALTAMONT, UTAH NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Altamont Town Council will conduct a formal Public Hearing on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 7:00 P.M. The hearing will be held in conjunction with the regularly scheduled Town Council meeting at the Altamont Town Administrative Office Building, located at 15588 W 4000 N, Altamont, UT 84001. Purpose of the Public Hearing The purpose of this public hearing is to receive public comment, input, and testimony regarding the following municipal items: - Proposed Town Council Compensation Increase: Consideration of a proposed compensation increase of $50.00 per month for each member of the Altamont Town Council. - Amendments to the FY 2025-2026 Municipal Budget: Review and consideration of proposed adjustments and amendments to close out the current fiscal year budget. - Adoption of the FY 2026-2027 Municipal Budget: Presentation, review, and formal adoption of the final proposed operating budget for the upcoming fiscal year. Public Participation and Comments All interested citizens, property owners, and stakeholders are invited to attend and will be given the opportunity to provide oral or written comments regarding these matters. - In-Person Comments: Citizens wishing to speak will be heard during the designated public comment portion of each agenda item. - Written Comments: Written comments may be submitted in advance to the Town Clerk via email at altamonttown@gmail.com or delivered to the Town Office no later than 4:00 P.M. on the day of the hearing. Accessibility Notice In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aids and services) during this meeting should notify Town Clerk Amanda Gardner at (435) 454-3469 at least three days prior to the hearing.
