The Town of Mantua Council Agenda May 27th, 2026 Held at Mantua Town Hall Time: 7:00 PM PUBLIC HEARING PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Mantua Town Council will hold its regular session and a mandatory Public Hearing in person at the Mantua Town Hall on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 7:00 PM. 1. CALL TO ORDER PUBLIC HEARING - Roll Call 2. PUBLIC HEARING: CIB FUNDING FOR CULINARY WATER, FIRE, POLICE, AND PUBLIC WORKS PROJECTS - Motion to Open Public Hearing: Formal motion and vote to begin the public hearing session. - Presentation: Review of proposed projects for the Utah Permanent Community Impact Fund Board (CIB), presented by Karen Nelson: - Culinary Water Generator: Backup generator purchase and installation for reliable water service, capacity, and fire flow safety. - Facilities Upgrades & Relocation: Fire department structural improvements, and relocation of police and public works to the 18-acre parcel below the fire station. - Financing & Public Impact: Proposed CIB grants/loans and potential impacts on user fees, special assessments, or property taxes. - Public Comment: Opportunity for citizens to provide feedback or read written comments submitted to the Town Recorder. - Motion to Close Public Hearing: Formal motion and vote to adjourn the public hearing portion of the meeting. 3. ACTION ITEMS - Action Item 1: Discussion and potential motion to approve the submission of the funding application to the Utah Permanent Community Impact Fund Board (CIB). 4. ADJOURNMENT - Motion and vote to adjourn the meeting.
