Approved minutes Of the Southwestern Special Service District Meeting held on Thursday March 19, 2026, 6:00 pm at the Winchester Hills Fire Station, Winchester Hills, Utah I. Call to Order A. Invocation - Kathy Farnsworth B. Pledge of Allegiance - Cheryl Christensen C. Attendance - Ferris, Kathy, Cheryl, Don, Chief Christensen, Rich excused out of town. II. Public comments Darryl Fisk III. Reports A. Fire Chief's report - 7 calls total 5 medical, 2 fire related, Winter fire school went well, Emergency driving simulator (for fire truck training) all got certified B. Approve January 2026 minutes - Don made a motion to approve the January 2026 minutes, Cheryl 2nd that motion approved with board members present. IV. Approval of Financial reports A. Rich financial reports - January, February reports, review Don made a motion to hold financials till next meeting when Rich is back, Kathy 2nd that motion all approved with board members present. B. Bills - auto pay, Tatum, UVU textbooks, Don made a motion to pay bills, hold UVU check until we receive the books, Cheryl 2nd that motion all approved with board members present. C. Deposits - Impact fee for addition, 2 rent payments, tax distribution. V. Business A. Life insurance we have for all volunteers a membership to Utah association of special districts. Cheryl made a motion for the memberships to be paid for each volunteer firefighter, they need to participate for 6 months and will be eligible at Fire Chief's discretion, Kathy 2nd that motion all approved with board members present. Cheryl made a motion to adjourn, Don 2nd that motion all approved with board members present Next scheduled meeting May 16, 2026, at 7:00 pm
