The Utah Board of Oil, Gas and Mining meets on Wednesday, May 27, at 9 a.m. at the Department of Natural Resources building at 1594 West North Temple in Salt Lake City. Docket No. 2026-022 Cause No. 470-27 - In the Matter of the Request for Agency Action of KODA GNB, LLC for an order partially amending the Board's orders entered in Cause Nos. 173-1, 173-2, 173-20 and 173-23 to modify the stratigraphic definition of the spaced interval as pertaining only to the drilling units established thereunder comprised of the S1/2 of Section 33, N1/2 and S1/2, respectively, of Section 34, and N1/2 and S1/2, respectively, of Section 36, Township 8 South, Range 20 East, S.L.M., the S1/2 of Section 31, and the S1/2 of Section 32, Township 8 South, Range 21 East, S.L.M., and the N1/2 of Section 4, Township 9 South, Range 20 East, S.L.M., Uintah County, Utah (This matter has been withdrawn and dismissed without prejudice.) 2. Docket No. 2026-021 Cause No. 132-87 - In the Matter of the Request for Agency Action of WEM OPERATING, LLC for an order pooling all interests, including the compulsory pooling of all interests of non-consenting and unknown owners, within a 1,280-acre (or substantial equivalent) overlapping drilling unit established for the production of oil, gas and associated hydrocarbons from the Lower Green River and Wasatch Formations, comprised of Sections 34 and 35, Township 4 South, Range 4 West, U.S.M., Duchesne County, Utah (This matter has been withdrawn and dismissed without prejudice.) 3. Docket No. 2026-018 Cause No. 132-86 - In the Matter of the Request for Agency Action of WEM OPERATING, LLC for an order pooling all interests, including the compulsory pooling of all interests of non-consenting and unknown owners, within a 1,280-acre (or substantial equivalent) overlapping drilling unit established for the production of oil, gas and associated hydrocarbons from the Lower Green River and Wasatch Formations, comprised of Sections 23 and 24, Township 4 South, Range 4 West, U.S.M., Duchesne County, Utah (This matter was continued from the April 15, 2026 Hearing Examiner Proceedings. The Board will consider the findings of fact and conclusions of law recommended by the Hearing Examiner from the proceedings on May 20, 2026.) 4. Docket No. 2026-024 Cause No. 132-88 - In the Matter of the Request for Agency Action of SM ENERGY COMPANY for an order pooling all interests including the compulsory pooling of the interests of certain non-consenting and unknown owners in the two (2) 'Frank' wells identified herein, within a 2,560-acre (or substantial equivalent) drilling unit established for the production of oil, gas and associated hydrocarbons from the Lower Green River-Wasatch (Colton) Formations, comprised of Sections 28, 29, 32 and 33, Township 2 South, Range 1 West, U.S.M., Duchesne County, Utah (The Board will consider the findings of fact and conclusions of law recommended by the Hearing Examiner from the proceedings on May 20, 2026.) 5. Docket No. 2026-025 Cause No. 132-89 - In the Matter of the Request for Agency Action of SM ENERGY COMPANY for an order pooling all interests including the compulsory pooling of the interests of certain non-consenting and unknown owners in the ten (10) 'Frank' and 'Tank' wells identified herein, within a 1,280-acre (or substantial equivalent) drilling unit established for the production of oil, gas and associated hydrocarbons from the Lower Green River-Wasatch (Colton) Formations, comprised of Sections 28 and 33, Township 2 South, Range 1 West, U.S.M., Duchesne County, Utah (The Board will consider the findings of fact and conclusions of law recommended by the Hearing Examiner from the proceedings on May 20, 2026.) 6. Docket No. 2026-019 Cause No. 470-26 - In the Matter of the Request for Agency Action of UINTA WAX OPERATING, LLC for an order (1) establishing four overlapping, stand-up 2,560-acre drilling unit boundary well drilling units and (2) partially amending the Board's orders in Cause Nos. 139-84, 139-135, 139-143, and 139-154 to (a) allow thirty-two wells in the 1280-acre drilling units; (b) to cover the Green River and Wasatch Formations; and (c) to set uniform boundary and interwell setbacks, all in Sections 17 - 20 and 28 - 33, Township 2 South, Range 1 East, USM, and Sections 25 and 36, Township 2 South, Range 1 West, USM, all in Uintah County, Utah 7. Docket No. 2026-023 Cause No. 470-28 - In the Matter of the Request for Agency Action of UINTA WAX OPERATING, LLC for an order: (1) partially amending the Board's orders entered in Cause Nos. 131-151, 470-03 and 470-24 to modify the stratigraphic definition of the spaced interval; (2) establishing overlapping three-sectional stand-up (vertical) drilling units for the production of oil, gas and associated hydrocarbons from the Green River and Wasatch Formations through extra-long lateral horizontal wells; and (3) establishing associated six-sectional stand-up (vertical) drilling units for the production of oil, gas and associated hydrocarbons from the Green River and Wasatch Formations through extra-long lateral horizontal drilling unit boundary wells, all within Township 3 South, Range 1 East, U.S.M., Uintah County, Utah
