Pleasant Grove Historic Preservation Commission Meeting Agenda Meeting Date and Time: Thursday, May 21, 2026, 7 PM Meeting Place: Old Town Hall (105 South 100 East) Opening Motions Excused: Motion to begin meeting: Second: Motion to approve April meeting minutes: Second: Monthly Subcommittee Check-in Reports Conduct subcommittee monthly check-in reports from subcommittee heads: Preservation (Chris Schow) Give update on 27 April meeting with Daniel Cardenas about Main Street. Community Outreach (Amy Wadley) Debrief the Alma Christiansen Lecture. Talk about the June 17 Little Denmark walking tour. Archives (Sharalyn Howcroft) Give an update on oral histories, storage options, and the archive. History & Publications (Laurel Cunningham) Present the new 'They Came to Battle Creek' book. Update on the three 2026 walking tour books. Other Business Items 1. Verdon Walker donated to the Commission. 2. Talk about Nancy's ideas for t-shirts and fundraising options. 3. Laurel and Denise are attending the SHPO Conference on June 12. Any others? 4. Our June meeting falls during Strawberry Days, so we need a non-downtown meeting location. Suggestions?
