- Notice of a Public Hearing The Town of Genola Planning Commission hereby gives notice of multiple public hearings on Thursday June 4, 2026, scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Genola Public Safety Building located at 455 N Main St. in Genola. The purpose of these hearings is to consider changes and updates made to the following Ordinances: Title 41 Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance: The proposed changes will bring the ordinance up to federal standard as required by FEMA to qualify for government funding in the event of a natural disaster. Appendix A Land Use Categories: Updating the land use table to include the new public facilities zone and updating multiple land use categories to be allowed in the public facilities zone. Notice is further given that if the Planning Commission approves the changes, the Genola Town Council will hear this item at the June 17th, 2026, Town Council Meeting to commence at 7:00 p.m. This meeting will also be held at the Genola Public Safety Building at 455 N Main St. in Genola.
