RIVERTON CITY PUBLIC NOTICE
The Riverton City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Riverton City Municipal Building located at 12830 South Redwood Road to hear following item(s):
a. 'King Rezone,' PLZ-26-4004, an application to rezone approximately 0.49-acres located at 13382 and 13392 South Trestle Lane, and a portion of 13400 South Trestle Lane and 2426 West 13400 South, from the RR-22 (1/2-acre minimum lot size), to the R-4 (Residential, 10,000 sf minimum lot size) and to amend the General Plan from Estate-Density Residential to Medium-Density Residential. b. 'Table of Commercial Uses,' PLZ-26-5004, an application to amend the Table of Commercial Uses found in Riverton City Code 18.190.010 to allow 'Ambulance Services' as a permitted use in the C-G (Gateway Commercial) zone. Applicant - Gold Cross Ambulance
c. 'Zev Technologies ZTC,' PLZ-26-5005, an application to amend Riverton City Code Section 9.20.010 to allow controlled discharge of a firearm as part of the manufacturing process. Applicant - Zev Technologies, LLC
d. 'Newman Construction Rezone', PLZ-25-4011, an application for change in zoning only for 1.47 acres located 1419, 1393, and 1381 West 12600 South. This project previously included a Development Agreement for a larger project area, and showed site layout and architectural standards. The City Council will be taking action only on the requested zoning for the property, which is a rezone to C-G (Commercial Gateway) with a Pedestrian Oriented Overlay.
This meeting is open to the public. A staff report will be available for public review through the City website prior to the meeting. Audio and video of the meeting will be broadcast live. Accessible parking and entrance are located on the south end of the building with elevator access to the City Council Chambers located on the second floor.
