PUBLIC NOTICE INTERLAKEN TOWN COUNCIL VACANCY Interlaken Town has an opening on the Town Council due to a vacated position. This position is filled by appointment and would begin this year upon approval and extend through December 31, 2027. To qualify, the applicant must be a registered voter in Utah, at least 18 years old, not be a convicted felon unless the right to hold elected office has been restored, and have been an Interlaken resident for at least 12 consecutive months. The vacancy will be filled by approval of the Mayor and Town Council at the council meeting held on June 2, 2026 at 6:30pm. This will be an open public meeting held at the town pumphouse, 326 Luzern Rd and remotely via Zoom - meeting ID 516 337 9977, password 84049. To submit your name for consideration, contact Bart Smith, Interlaken Town Administrator and Clerk at admin@interlakenut.gov, (435) 565-3812. The deadline to submit is June 1, 2026 at 6:30pm. Those who submitted their name for consideration must attend the Town Council Meeting on June 2, 2026 at 6:30pm to appear before the council and to hear the announcement of who will be appointed. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, Interlaken Town will make reasonable accommodations for participation in the meeting.
