OURAY PARK WATER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT Board Meeting Minutes May 12, 2026 PLACE: Avalon Community Center TIME: 7:00 p.m. BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Paul Smart and Lee Hanberg OTHERS PRESENT: Lisa Frost, Isaac Hatch - Sunrise, Aaron Averett - Sunrise, and Daniel & Ingrid Emmett NOT PRESENT: Max Jensen Chairperson Paul Smart called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m. A motion was made by board member Lee Hanberg to accept the April minutes with corrections. Paul Smart seconded the motion. Motion carried. Daniel Emmett discussed with the board his interest in obtaining a water connection. Daniel took an application to complete and stated that once financing is secured, he will return the application. The board reviewed the Cyber Security Policy. Lee Hanberg moved to adopt the Cyber Security Policy. Paul Smart seconded the motion. Motion carried. The board decided to hold off on the down payment to Infinity Trailers LLC until more information is received regarding State Lead and Copper Funding. Lisa Frost will void the check. Isaac Hatch installed the Kole Westwood meter. Todd Butler's meter has not yet been installed, but Isaac plans to complete the installation this weekend. Isaac had difficulty locating the line and encountered a break but was able to install the new connection and complete 200 feet of trenching. The $800 trenching charge will need to be invoiced to Kole. Aaron Averett updated the board. (See attached.) Lee Hanberg moved to pay the bills. Paul Smart seconded the motion. Motion carried. Paul Smart moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:09 p.m. Lee Hanberg seconded the motion. Motion carried. br> Paul Smart, Chairman Lisa Frost, Secretary
