PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Weber County, Utah will hold a regular commission meeting in the Commission Chambers at 2380 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah, on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, commencing at 10:00 a.m. The agenda for the meeting consists of the following: A. Welcome- Commissioner Froerer B. Pledge of Allegiance- C. Invocation/Moment of Silence- Craig Brandt D. Commissioner Comments- Stall of Fame E. Agenda Related Public Comments- (Comments will be taken for items listed on the agenda- please limit comments to 3 minutes) F. Presentations- 1. Presentation to Jan Zogmaister for her dedication and service to the Weber County Homeless Trust Fund. Presenter: Kevin Eastman 2. Report on the Success of Men's World Curling Championships- Presenters: Marty Smith, Todd Ferrario, Sara Toliver G. Consent Items- 1. Request for approval of purchase orders in the amount of $141,342.41. 2. Request for approval of warrants #108005-108063, #496505-496604 and #527-529 in the amount of $4,306,906.45. 3. Summary of warrants and purchase orders. 4. Request for approval of the May 12, 2026, meeting minutes. 5. Request for approval of new business licenses. 6. Request from the Weber County Transfer Station for approval to surplus a 2022 Dodge RAM and miscellaneous equipment and material. 7. Request for approval of the recommendation of the Weber County Tax Review Committee for approval of a 2nd Year Tax Sale Extension for Parcel #19-033-0048. Owner: Donnie Harris. 8. Request for approval of the recommendation of the Weber County Tax Review Committee to deny the request to change ownership from secondary to primary for the year 2025 for Parcel #20-139-0006. Owners: F Zane & Brooks B Jesson. 9. Request for approval of the recommendation of the Weber County Tax Review Committee to deny the request to change ownership from secondary to primary for the year 2025 for Parcel #17-033-0007. Owners: Tyler Madsen & Evan McKenna Bradford. 10. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County/Weber Metro CSI and the Utah Department of Public Safety Crime Lab allowing our CSI to utilize the firing range at the state crime lab for testing of firearms in evidence. 11. Request for approval of an agreement by and between Weber County and William Anthony Wilcox for representation of indigent persons in the Second District Court. 12. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and the Bureau of Reclamation allowing equipment to be temporarily on the Bureau's property during the Causey Project. 13. Request for approval of amendments to Weber County Human Resources Policy 4-200: Leave Practices. 14. Request for approval of amendments to the Weber County Audit Committee Policy 4-100. H. Action- 1. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Wilson and Company to have a consultant prepare an environmental document for the walkway that is being proposed along 900 South from West Weber Elementary to 3600 West. Public hearing for discussion and/or action on an application to amend the Western Weber General Plan's Future Land Use Map to change the future land use designation of the Halcyon Estates Subdivision dedicated open space, located at approximately 1700 South 4150 West, from parks and recreation open space to medium-to-large residential lots. Request for a public hearing for discussion and/or action on an application to rezone the Halcyon Estates Subdivision, located at approximately 1700 South, 4150 West, from the A-1 zone to the R1-15 zone.
