NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE OF INTENT TO TRANSFER ENTERPRISE FUNDS, PURSUANT TO TITLE 10 CHAPTER 6 OF THE UTAH CODE AND NOTICE OF ENTERPRISE FUND HEARING Roy City intends to transfer funds from the utility enterprise funds to the general fund, internal service funds, & utility funds as part of the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 budget (July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027). These funds will be used in supplementing City services. Amounts to be transferred from the utility enterprise funds to the general fund and other funds with the percentage of total fund expenditures represented by each transfer are as follows: Transfer from: Water & Sewer Utility Storm Water Utility Solid Waste Utility Transfer to: General Fund $ 1,047,386 7.49% $ 189,390 13.73% $ 295,162 8.26% IT Fund 266,557 1.91% 20,504 1.49% 41,009 1.15% Risk Management Fund 131,171 0.94% 10,090 0.73% 20,180 0.56% Water & Sewer Utility - 7,316 0.53% 19,168 0.54% Storm Water Utility - - 2,525 0.07% $ 1,445,114 $ 227,300 $ 378,044 The Roy City Council will hold a public enterprise fund hearing on June 2, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 5051 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah 84067, to receive public input on the proposed enterprise fund transfers, provide enterprise fund accounting data and obtain Council approval. All interested citizens are invited to watch and participate in the discussion either in person during the public hearing or on YouTube live stream.
