1. Consider confirmation of the Mayor's appointment of Maren Patterson as a Hearing Officer for a term from May 6, 2026 through May 5, 2029.
2. Consider confirmation of the Mayor's appointment of Jeff Webster to the Senior Recreation Center Advisory Board for a term from February 2026 through January 2029.
Public Hearings

1. Consider an ordinance amending the Standard Land Use Code (originally adopted by Murray City on April 7, 1987) to create and add Land Use Classification Number 8230 for 'Veterinary Dentistry'. Chad Wilkinson presenting.
2. Consider an ordinance amending Section 17.144.030 of the Murray City Municipal Code to allow Land Use No. 8230 'Veterinary Dentistry' as a Conditional Use in the G-O (General Office District) Zone. Chad Wilkinson presenting.
3. Consider an ordinance amending Section 12.24.175(B) and enacting Section 12.24.185 of the Murray City Municipal Code related to Murray Armory rental fees. Adam Hock presenting.

1. Consider an ordinance renumbering Sections of Chapter 2.32 and amending Sections 2.32.020, 2.32.040, 2.32.050, and 2.32.070 and enacting Section 2.32.060 of the Murray City Municipal Code relating to the Public Works Department. G.L. Critchfield presenting.

3. Murray City intends to make the following statement containing each of the following elements (a) through (d), as required by state law:
a. that Murray City is considering levying a tax rate that exceeds Murray City's certified tax rate ('tax rate increase');
b. the approximate dollar amount of and purpose for additional ad valorem tax revenue that would be generated by the proposed tax rate increase;
c. the approximate percentage increase in ad valorem tax revenue for Murray City based on the proposed tax rate increase; and
d. that if Murray City proceeds with the proposed tax rate increase, Murray City will provide notice of and conduct a public hearing, as required by state law (Utah Code 59-2-919(4)(c)), at which members of the public will have an opportunity to provide comments on the proposed tax rate increase.

5. Consider a resolution adopting the City Council's Tentative Budget, as amended, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026 and ending June 30, 2027, a Property Tax Impact Schedule, and scheduling a hearing to receive public comment before the interim budget is adopted.

Council Members may participate in the meeting via telephonic communication. If a Council Member does participate via telephonic communication, the Council Member will be on speaker phone. The speaker phone will be amplified so that the other Council Members and all other persons present in the Council Chambers will be able to hear all discussions.

The Council meets the first and third Tuesday of each month. An annual meeting schedule is adopted and published in a newspaper of general circulation at the beginning of the year. Meeting agendas are also published on the City's website, as are approved
