Daggett County Primary Election
Logic and Accuracy Test for 2026 Municipal Election Equipment
Daggett County is committed to ensuring the integrity and accuracy of its electoral process. In accordance with this commitment, a public Logic and Accuracy (L&A) Test will be performed on all Express Vote Machines and Tabulators that have been designated for use in the upcoming 2026 Primary Election.
This essential pre-election procedure will allow election officials, and the public, to verify that all voting equipment is functioning correctly and accurately recording and counting ballots as intended. The L&A Test involves a series of meticulously planned steps designed to simulate the voting process, using a pre-determined set of test ballots. This rigorous testing ensures that:
Express Vote Machines accurately display candidate names, allow voters to make selections, and print a verifiable paper ballot for review.
Tabulators correctly read and count all valid votes cast on both paper ballots (generated by Express Vote machines or traditional hand-marked ballots) and accurately aggregate election results.
The public is cordially invited and encouraged to observe this vital process. Your presence helps foster transparency and public confidence in our elections.
