PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Manila will hold a public hearing on MAY 28, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as feasible, at the Town Conference Meeting Room, located at 145 E Hwy 43, Manila, Utah.
The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comments regarding the proposed animal and firework ordinances, water conservation, sewer impact fees, and a policy for retirement eligibility for Tier 2 elected officials part-time (ineligible). These changes are intended to support the ongoing operation and safety of the Town of Manila, implementing water use restrictions due to ongoing water shortages across the state, impact fees as needed, and to ensure the Town is in accordance with Utah Code Title 49 and audit recommendations for our Tier 2 elected officials.
Public comments are encouraged and may be submitted in person at the scheduled hearing or via email to jennifera@manilautah.com. All comments will be shared with the Town Council and included in the public record. Written comments must be received prior to the start of the meeting to be considered.
