TOWN OF RUSH VALLEY
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Rush Valley Town Council will conduct a public hearing at the Rush Valley Town Hall, 52 South Park Street, Rush Valley, Utah at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
The purpose of the hearing is to gather public input on a proposed application to the Utah Community Impact Board (CIB) for funding to support the purchase of property located at 625 W Shambip Road, Rush Valley, UT 84069. The property would be used to house Town equipment, materials and maintenance operations. This facility would provide indoor storage for equipment and a dedicated workspace for repairs and maintenance, which are currently performed outdoors. The estimated total cost of the project is $325,000.00. Proposed funding sources include:
$300,000.00 from CIB
$ 25,000.00 from Town Capital Improvement Fund
All interested persons are invited to attend and provide comment regarding this request. Written comments will also be considered if submitted to the Town Clerk/Recorder at least three (3) days prior to the hearing. Comments may be submitted by email to townofrv@gmail.com.
