Elwood Town Council Meeting April 28, 2026 The Elwood Town Council met at the Elwood Town Hall, 5235 West 8800 North, Elwood, Utah, at 6:30, April 28, 2026. The following members were present consisting of a quorum. Scott Goodliffe Mayor Brian Davis Councilmember Mark Lay Councilmember Phil Shimek Councilmember Crutis Crouch Councilmember Staff present at this meeting Gina Marble Town Clerk Steve Woerner Public Works Others present at this meeting Chris Crockett WELCOME ADMINISTRATION The meeting was called to order and opened with the Pledge, and an invocation was offered. Mayor Goodliffe welcomed everyone to the meeting. Administration Item#1Action Item- Executive Session-Strategy session to discuss pending or reasonably imminent litigation- Mayor Goodliffe called for a motion to enter closed/executive session to discuss pending or reasonably imminent litigation. Motion to enter closed/executive session to discuss pending or reasonably imminent litigation was made by Council Member Lay and seconded by Councilmember Davis. Upon roll call vote - Shimek: Aye, Davis: Aye, Crouch: Aye, Lay: Aye,- the motion carried. Motion Passed. Council Member Lay moved to close the executive session. The motion was seconded by Councilmember Shimek and carried unanimously. Council Member Lay moved to reopen the public meeting. Council Member Shimek seconded. The motion carried unanimously. Councilmember Shimek made a motion to adjourn. Councilmember Crouch seconded the motion, and the remaining council members agreed. The meeting was adjourned at 6:53 p.m. The undersigned, duly acting and appointed clerk for Elwood Town Corporation, hereby certifies that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of the Town Council meeting minutes held on the 28th day of Apil 2026.
