- Town of Redmond 45 West Main Street Redmond, Utah 84652 ___________________________________________________________________________ NOTICE OF ANNEXATION PETITION Notice is hereby given that a petition has been filed with Redmond Town proposing the annexation of certain real property into the municipality. Date of Certification: May 11, 2026 Description of Proposed Annexation Area: The area proposed for annexation is described as follows: 4-22-44, 4-22-13, 4-22-47, 4-22-45, 4-22-46, 4-22-48, and 4-22-29 A complete copy of the annexation petition is available for public inspection and copying at the office of the Redmond Town Records Officer, located at: 45 West Main Street, Redmond, UT 84652 IMPORTANT NOTICE: Unless a written protest to the annexation petition is filed within 30 days after the date of certification, the municipality may grant the petition and annex the area described in the petition. To be valid, a written protest to the annexation petition must: 1. Be filed with the Sevier County Planning and Zoning Office no later than June 9, 2026; and 2. A copy of the written protest must be delivered to the Redmond Town Records Officer at the address listed above. Protests may be filed at: The Sevier County Planning and Zoning's Office, located at the Sevier County Administration Building, 250 N Main St #131, Richfield, UT 84701, 435-893-0420. How to File a Protest: Instructions for filing a protest to the annexation petition can be found at the Redmond Town Offices located at 45 West Main Street, Redmond, UT 84652 Special District Annexation or Withdrawal Notice: If the area proposed for annexation is not in a special district for fire, paramedic, or law enforcement services-but the annexing municipality is-the area will be automatically annexed into that district. If the area is in such a district but the municipality is not, it will be automatically withdrawn, per Utah Code ยงยง 17B-1-416 and 17B-1-502(2).
