Pleasant Grove Beautification & Shade Tree Advisory Commission Meeting Agenda Meeting to be held at City Hall May 14th, 2026 at 7:00 pm Attendance: Present: Absent: Agenda Items: 1. Welcome and Introduction - 2. Approve Minutes from January/February and March meetings, April meeting was canceled 3. Treasurer's Report: 4. Report from Park/Rec: 5. Current Business: a. Yard of the Month i. Prizes: Update from LaRaine, how did the signs turn out? Are we ready for our first month of sign distributions? ii. Sign: did Nick get a sign from LaRaine? b. Strawberry Days Garden tour: Kathy updates i. Was everyone able to follow up? Michelle's mom, JD and Doug c. Other items from Committee i. 6. Announcements: Next meeting: June 11th at 7:00pm Other: 7. Tabled Items: 1. Pioneer park: Rose project, list of roses given to Michelle from Deon, she will check availability- will need update at next meeting, anything else the committee can do to help? When will the install be happening? Will water issues be sorted or continue with the same sprinklers? 2. Water wise policies: there are state regulations that will dictate what to switch to, there are mow strip ordinance options, still waiting to see what the city council decides. *Will need to adopt once the policy is updated. 8.
