VERNAL CITY ORDINANCE NO 2026-09 ADOPTED
Notice is hereby given that the Vernal City Council has adopted Ordinance No. 2026-09, amending Sections 16.04, 16.26, 16.27, 16.42, and 16.44 of the Vernal City Municipal Code relating to residential development standards.
This ordinance updates and clarifies residential development regulations within the R-3 and R-4 zoning districts, including provisions related to residential density, parking, landscaping, setbacks, lot dimensions, and zoning definitions. The amendments are intended to improve consistency and administration of residential development standards, better reflect current development practices and community needs, and support orderly and efficient residential growth within Vernal City.
Ordinance 2026-09 was duly passed and adopted by the Vernal City Council on May 6, 2026.
The ordinance takes effect immediately upon adoption and posting, as provided by law. A copy
of the ordinance is on file and available for public inspection at the Vernal City Recorder's Office
374 East Main Street, Vernal, Utah, during regular business hours, or on the City's website.
