PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE Coalville City Planning Commission DEVELOPMENT CODE UPDATE AMENDMENTS Public notice is hereby given that the Coalville City Planning Commission will conduct a Public Hearing to review, discuss, receive comment, and possibly make a recommendation on update amendments to the City Development Code (Code). The Public Hearing is scheduled for Monday, May 18, 2026, beginning at 6:00 P.M. at the Coalville City Hall located at 10 North Main. It has come to the attention of the City that the current Development Code contains language provisions and references that should be addressed, clarified, and corrected related to administrative review and approval processing for administrative applications consistent with current State statues. The City is also proposing various amendments to the Code to address several regulatory requirements and provide clarity, correctness, and possible changes related to temporary signs, commercial campgrounds, business licenses, special events, and other provision clarifications. Existing Health and Safety and Noise Disturbance Regulations are also being proposed to include in the Code that were inadvertently omitted in the published web version of the Code. All interested persons may attend the public hearing in person or virtually and make public comment. Written comments may also be emailed to Coalville City at cityhall@coalvillecity.org.
